Ryan VanOverbeke serves as the Executive Vice President and Chief Revenue Officer for Vimly Benefit Solutions. He has oversight over the entire commercialization team: sales, marketing, relationship management, and channels. Ryan also leads the design, development, and execution of Vimly’s sales strategy and drives top-line revenue growth by creating demand for Vimly’s technology and solutions. He sits at the forefront of the corporate roadmap to drive go-to-market pursuits, inspire customer confidence, and develop assessment methodology to quickly size-up the value proposition of a sales opportunity. His role is to create relationships at the C-level based on trust, credibility, and ROI. Ryan’s approach is a consultative one that ultimately establishes and generates awareness and preference for Vimly’s brand and offerings.
Prior to Vimly, Ryan served as the SVP, Healthcare Partner Executive of WEX Health (NYSE: WEX) where he had key responsibilities for all existing partner revenue growth and retention across the division, including oversight of account executives nationally. During his 6+ years at WEX, the business grew over 500% through new sales and expanded distribution with 99% retention. In addition, Ryan helped lead revenue growth from $70 million to $370 million.
Before his tenure at WEX Health, Ryan served as Regional Vice President of Sales & Account Management for UnitedHealthcare—a division of UnitedHealth Group. Over the course of 10 years at UnitedHealth Group, he held several sales, distribution, and leadership roles within the commercial insurance space.
Ryan is a graduate of Minnesota State University in Mankato, Minnesota where he obtained a Bachelor of Science in Finance. He lives in Minneapolis and spends as much time as possible outdoors enjoying the beautiful Minnesota summers where you’ll find him boating, golfing, or spending time with family and friends.
