Customer Success Coordinator

POSITION SUMMARY 

Ensure delivery of excellent customer service through fast and accurate processing of enrollment, eligibility, billing, communication (phone, email, fax), and coordinating with other departments to resolve inquires. The first point of customer contact for general inquiries. Build and maintain business relationships with clients by providing prompt and accurate service to promote customer loyalty. Provide support as a team effort in special projects on an on-going basis.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND OPPORTUNITIES

  • Increase depth of learning of Vimly enrollment, eligibility, billing, and technical procedures that are critical to serving our clients.
  • Provide answers to enrollment, eligibility, termination and billing questions.
  • Provide general administrative support for team needs.
  • Process incoming mailed and electronic applications, verification of eligibility.
  • Act as a liaison between clients and their insurance carriers. Quickly resolve eligibility concerns with carriers and providers on behalf of the employers and employees when discrepancies occur.
  • Process notifications and other compliance documentation. Ensure all data is in compliance with federally mandated rules and procedures.
  • Maintain client records, noting discrepancies as directed.
  • Support month-end reporting, as needed, in an effective and timely manner, including delinquency calls and producer questions.
  • Provide general file management per VimIy standard procedures.
  • Assist Vimly teams outside of your department with their work as directed by your manager or supervisor. This work may fall outside of procedures within your department but are critical to overall continuous office operations.
  • Actively participate in learning client needs, taking on more responsibility as directed by Account Manager.
  • Willingness to participate in departmental and company-wide committees, events, and offerings as appropriate.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • High school education or equivalent; college education a plus
  •  2-5 years customer service experience
  • 0-1 years of employee benefits experience (enrollment, eligibility, claims processing, billing)

Compliance Manager

POSITION SUMMARY 

The Compliance Manager drives the leadership, implementation and maintenance of the regulatory and compliance requirements related to administration of health benefit plans.  This position is primarily responsible for monitoring regulatory requirements and ensuring compliance, and working with our IT staff to ensure that our health information data and operations comply. As the Compliance Manager, you will be responsible for facilitating, executing, monitoring and documenting policies, procedures, processes and overall compliance operations.  This role will also assist in developing and executing communication and training modules and initiatives. Additional responsibilities include leading and/or participating in the investigation of privacy, security and other ethics concerns. As the Compliance Manager you will be responsible for compliance with federal, state, SOC/HITRUST rules and regulations and workplace safety.

 The ideal candidate will provide advice and guidance on security strategies to manage identified risks and ensure adoption and adherence to standards. As the Compliance Manager, you will obtain and act on vulnerability information and conduct security risk assessments, business impact analysis and assist in accreditation of vendors in support of complex information systems. Additionally, this role will investigate breaches of security, recommend appropriate control improvements and contribute to the development of information security policy, standards and guidelines.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND OPPORTUNITIES

  • Develop and maintain documentation, tools and methodologies for the privacy and security program
  • Direct Privacy and Security Risk Assessment Management including third party, SOC and HITRUST assessments
  • Monitor healthcare industry for regulations and rules applicable to Vimly or its clients and advise the leadership team and disseminate to staff when appropriate
  • Manage and execute the Employee Education program for Privacy and Security
  • Manage the Privacy and Security Program Plan and assist with its documentation
  • Lead continuous improvement security control projects – internal, third party and HITRUST associated corrective action plans (CAPs)
  • Assist in the analysis and reporting of Privacy and Security disclosures, vendor assessments, employee compliance, and other privacy and security assessment requests
  • Manage the annual review process of Policy and Procedure documentation
  • Serve as a subject matter expert for Privacy and Security functions at Vimly
  • Make recommendations for privacy and security improvements to Vimly’s vendors
  • Perform monitoring activities, and assist the leadership team in analyzing outcomes and communicating findings as appropriate
  • Maintain documentation for Vimly and on behalf of our customers

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor degree or equivalent training and work experience relevant to the duties of the position will be considered
  • Minimum of five years of experience in information security, quality control, risk management, regulatory compliance, corporate compliance, healthcare compliance, privacy compliance or workplace safety compliance roles. Employment history must demonstrate increasing levels of responsibility
  • Certifications such as CTPRP, CISA, CISSP, CIPP, CRISC, CISM are a plus.  If not currently held, a willingness to attain one of these is expected.
  • Experience in IT compliance, SOC and knowledge of HITRUST is a plus, but is not required

Senior Cloud Engineer

POSITION SUMMARY 

The Senior Cloud Engineer will design, develop, and install software solutions. The key project for this role is greenfield and offers the most current tools and technologies for the core team. In this role, you will be required to build high-quality, innovative, and fully performing software in compliance with coding standards and technical design. The role requires the skills as a seasoned, experienced professional with a full understanding of industry practices and company policies and procedures. You will resolve a wide range of issues in imaginative as well as practical ways. The selected candidate may have the responsibility for planning, developing, and directing a small engineering team.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND OPPORTUNITIES

  • Design and build highly scalable, resilient, performant cloud microservices and APIs
  • Work with QA in close collaboration on developing testing processes, frameworks, automation, and deployment strategies
  • Work with architects on software and system optimizations, helping to identify and remove potential performance bottlenecks
  • Focus on innovating new and better ways to create solutions that add value
  • Coordinate and communicate with product management, program management, QA, cloud operations, technical support, and sales teams at various stages of product development.
  • May oversee the professional development of any direct reports, providing mentorship and leadership. Train and mentor, establish performance goals, and perform staff assessments. 

DESIRED EXPERIENCE

  • Working experience with creating web services using DropWizard
  • Experience developing Application implementing Autopilot Pattern
  • Experience with Streaming Systems such as AWS Kinesis, Kafka, SQS
  • Experience with secure, data-sensitive, multi-tenant web site design
  • Data Warehousing with systems such as Redshift, Hadoop, Spark
  • Services orchestration frameworks like Kubernetes or Docker Swarm
  • Working knowledge of HTTP, HTML5, CSS, JavaScript, AJAX, JSON 

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or equivalent work experience preferred
  • 7+ years of software development experience
  • 3+ years of working experience in Java
  • 2+ years of designing and developing microservices
  • Strong OOD and Design Patterns principles
  • Experience building and developing high quality solutions on AWS, Azure, or similar cloud platforms
  • Cloud-based distributed application scaling & data processing
  • NoSQL database systems such as DynamoDb, Mongo, Cassandra, HBase, or BigTable
  • Strong professional experience with RDBMS systems such as Postgress, MySql, or MS SQL Server
  • Caching systems such as Redis, Consul, or Memcache
  • Experience with Docker containers
  • Strong professional experience with Git and software development process
  • Proven track record of leading a team - your ambitious about standards and executing with excellence
  • Strong knowledge of agile development practices, methodologies and tools
