Conversion Analyst

POSITION SUMMARY

As a Conversion Analyst in the Professional Services team, you’ll work with Vimly customers and stakeholders to: define and solve problems, gather and document requirements, support implementation efforts, and drive improvements to key operational processes. You’ll collaborate extensively with product managers, clients, and internal teams to deliver solutions that address complex problems and delight our stakeholders.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND OPPORTUNITIES

  • Interpret data, analyze results using statistical techniques and provide ongoing reports.
  • Assess data collection systems, data analytics and other strategies to onboard customers.
  • Acquire data from primary or secondary data sources and create meaningful understanding for internal and external customers
  • Extract, Transform and Load (ETL) customer data.
  • Identify, analyze, and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets.
  • Work with management to prioritize business and information needs.
  • Address stakeholder questions and issues.
  • Locate and define new process improvement opportunities.
  • Document detailed processes, requirements, and use cases.
  • Translate technical details and data reports into meaningful insights for stakeholders.
  • Work in cross-functional teams to deliver solutions for customers, internal departments, including Development, Quality Assurance, Customer Success teams, and leadership stakeholders.
  • Test and troubleshoot feature releases, report bugs, and assist with root cause analysis.
  • Drive analysis efforts for company initiatives, including configuration analysis, process analysis, trend/usage analysis, and more.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher, or equivalent work experience
  • 2+ years of experience with requirements gathering, data analytics, technical support/troubleshooting, process documentation and/or process improvement
  • Ability to creatively solve problems
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Ability to set and self-manage priorities while working on multiple projects
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Strong competency in Excel and/or Visio
  • Past experience with a technical language or skill (such as SQL, Javascript, HTML, etc.) or analytics tools (such as Tableau, Salesforce, Google Analytics, etc.)
  • Past experience working directly with customers in a technical support role
  • Domain knowledge of the benefits administration industry

Principal Architect

POSITION SUMMARY 

Vimly seeks to hire a Principal Architect who is a technology leader, who will partner closely with the Chief Architect on the architectural strategy for the Vimly product suite. With the Chief Architect, you will own technical design of future-focused features and product lines. You will be responsible for directional technology decisions and delivery of proof of concepts and features. 

The ideal candidate will be skilled in the architecture, design, and development of SaaS enterprise applications. This person will drive technical strategy pertaining to large scale, enterprise platform capability. The successful candidate will be a technologist, designer, team leader, and hands-on coder enjoying the depth of high performance, large scale, service-oriented systems.

WHAT WE WANT YOU TO DO

The architect is responsible for Vimly’s full application stack, from database through service layers to web front-end. Your specific role will be to ensure that Vimly discovers, designs and delivers the right core capabilities to power Vimly’s product lines. You will help develop and guide a multi-year architectural strategy and technical roadmap. You will need to be passionate about building value and quality-oriented software, simple, powerful, scalable services and innovative SaaS architectures. The architect is not only the steward of the technical system but also a champion for all the developers ensuring they are informed, productive, and growing. 

As one of the most senior individual contributors on the team, and one of a handful of the senior technologists in the company, you will be responsible for strategic architectural planning across the company. The architect will be involved in daily activities including; iteration planning, coding, design reviews, and technical discussions to set and determine technical direction. Additionally, you will work closely with Vimly’s executive leadership and all engineering teams responsible for delivering solutions that power the business. You will be one of the key members of a small group of Architects and Senior Engineers that sets and implements technical direction for the company, with sponsorship from Vimly’s SVP, Engineering and other Executives in the company.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND OPPORTUNITIES

  • Define and drive the strategy and multi-year plan for Vimly’s core product lines. As part of this, you will facilitate architecture decisions and technical strategy evolution with stakeholders across the company.
  • Write high quality, impactful software! Deliver a high-availability SaaS Platform, comprised of services, globally to enterprise customers with hundreds and thousands of users.
  • Holistically ensure that product and technical ideas are rationalized and prioritized and then integrated into product plans to deliver customer value and meet market demand.
  • Analyze, propose and integrate new tools and technologies to extend existing architecture as it relates to the platform.
  • Innovate and deliver capabilities for SaaS–based business applications utilizing a highly scalable and secure distributed platform.
  • Work closely with the product management team to identify, scope, and prioritize applications and features. Work with the engineering team leaders to identify, scope, prioritize, and teach people about, platform capabilities. Be accountable for the fulfillment of the product roadmap.
  • Explain / evangelize Vimly’s technology capabilities to internal and external audiences.
  • Provide mentorship to engineers across the company and help with the hiring of additional engineering talent for the company.
  • Collaborate with other senior members of the development staff on Vimly-wide system design and architecture; assure that your product needs are considered and meeting the business needs.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • Minimum 10 years commercial software experience with at least five years in the role as a hands-on architect.
  • Deep experience in delivering SaaS solutions with a DevOps mindset; Proven track record of leading the design and architecture of high-quality enterprise applications on time.
  • Proven experience migrating applications to the Cloud (AWS, Azure or GCP)
  • Expert level Java or equivalent knowledge (OO design, generally)
  • Current in technology trends, knowledge, and experience:
    • Real-time, service-oriented, distributed systems
    • Database technology, both SQL and NoSQL
    • Infrastructure resource management and configuration tools
    • Concurrent and multi-threading programming models
    • Web tech stack such as javascript, HTML, CSS, etc.
  • Enthusiasm for Agile software development in a DevOps culture.
  • Passion and experience in mentoring and recruiting/team building.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • BA/BS in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience is required.

Customer Success Coordinator

POSITION SUMMARY 

Ensure delivery of excellent customer service through fast and accurate processing of enrollment, eligibility, billing, communication (phone, email, fax), and coordinating with other departments to resolve inquires. The first point of customer contact for general inquiries. Build and maintain business relationships with clients by providing prompt and accurate service to promote customer loyalty. Provide support as a team effort in special projects on an on-going basis.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND OPPORTUNITIES

  • Increase depth of learning of Vimly enrollment, eligibility, billing, and technical procedures that are critical to serving our clients.
  • Provide answers to enrollment, eligibility, termination and billing questions.
  • Provide general administrative support for team needs.
  • Process incoming mailed and electronic applications, verification of eligibility.
  • Act as a liaison between clients and their insurance carriers. Quickly resolve eligibility concerns with carriers and providers on behalf of the employers and employees when discrepancies occur.
  • Process notifications and other compliance documentation. Ensure all data is in compliance with federally mandated rules and procedures.
  • Maintain client records, noting discrepancies as directed.
  • Support month-end reporting, as needed, in an effective and timely manner, including delinquency calls and producer questions.
  • Provide general file management per VimIy standard procedures.
  • Assist Vimly teams outside of your department with their work as directed by your manager or supervisor. This work may fall outside of procedures within your department but are critical to overall continuous office operations.
  • Actively participate in learning client needs, taking on more responsibility as directed by Account Manager.
  • Willingness to participate in departmental and company-wide committees, events, and offerings as appropriate.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • High school education or equivalent; college education a plus
  •  2-5 years customer service experience

Staff Accountant

POSITION SUMMARY

Reporting directly to the Controller the Staff Accountant will contribute to the operational and financial effectiveness of the Accounting department. Responsibilities center heavily around the month-end and quarter-end accounting close and related processes. Preparation of bank reconciliations, journal entries, and financial statements along with the processing of disbursements will be key activities.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND OPPORTUNITIES

  • Responsible for month-end accounting close process, preparation and analysis of monthly financial statements for client accounts, including income statements, balance sheets, cash flows, and project accounting in accordance with established deadlines.
  • Assist in the design, development, implementation, and monitoring of required accounting systems, procedures, and controls.
  • Prepare appropriate general ledger entries and reconciliations.
  • Prepare bank reconciliations of a large and complex nature to assist with larger clients.
  • Batch process Stop Payments at the bank and Voids in QuickBooks.
  • Engage in research on clients in database software: work to identify and resolve discrepancies, research balances, and rectify variances.
  • Prepare disbursements as backup coverage for vacations and periods of heavy volume. Review disbursements prepared by others.
  • Process Accounts Payable
  • Client audit preparation; pull reports and samples, reconcile variances, answer questions, and engage in other activities to meet the needs for client audits.
  • Assist in regular control testing to ensure proper control design, implementation and operating effectiveness.
  • Assist with periodic compliance reporting requirements as needed.
  • Assist with transactional functions such as receivable posting.
  • Assist with ACH batching process online (VANCO) – includes reconciliation work.
  • Assist with 1099 Preparation
  • Develop and assure strong supportive relationships with all departments and clients to ensure mutual cooperation and problem solving.
  • Prepare special projects as requested by the Controller or senior management.
  • Participate in and receive appropriate Vimly sponsored training, including increasing responsibility within the Accounting Department and Employee Benefits industry.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • 4+ years’ of experience in accounting or related field
  • AA degree in Accounting, Certificate in Accounting, or equivalent experience
  • Strong QuickBooks and Excel skills.
  • Operational accounting experience with various sized organizations.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced environment similar to a high-tech start-up.
  • A demonstrated history of solving multiple and complex operational and accounting challenges.

National Sales Executive

POSITION SUMMARY 

Vimly seeks a high-energy sales executive that can drive sales, revenue growth and profit using your knowledge of all our product offerings. Reporting to the National SVP, this individual must be results oriented with a proven track record of successfully generating new sales growth from start to finish. As a National Sales Executive, you will be responsible for representing and promoting Vimly as an experienced benefits technology and service company. Our National Sales Executive will work collaboratively with internal colleagues across various functional areas and leverage subject matter experts as appropriate to support his/her sales efforts.  

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND OPPORTUNITIES

  • Clearly demonstrate the value proposition of Vimly to prospective clients based on financial analysis.
  • Developing and qualifying leads within respective territory to drive additional sales opportunities through cold-calling and lead generation campaigns.
  • Drive all sales activities including but not limited to; prospecting, profiling, product demonstrations, RFP/proposal development and to the sale close all while ensuring customer satisfaction.
  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of Vimly's solutions and offerings.
  • Maintain an understanding of the marketplace and competitive offerings.
  • Strategically plan, negotiate and influence interactions and relationships with clients and internal team members to achieve strategic sales goals.
  • Track and monitor client engagements through Salesforce automation tool, prepare accurate reports and forecasts, manage pipeline and perform other tasks necessary to drive sales revenue.
  • Grow and maintain strong relationships with clients and partners to increase opportunities and participate in weekly reviews of various client engagements.

  • Prefer sales executives with strong consultative and solution sales experience selling to health plans/carriers, Association Health Plans (AHPs), Third-Party Administrators (TPAs), large general agencies/brokerage firms, PEOs, ancillary carriers and/or labor and public-sector customers.

Account Manager

POSITION SUMMARY 

The Account Manager is responsible for managing and providing leadership for their assigned book of business while ensuring that our clients receive excellent customer service and support. As the Account Manager, your goal is to delight the customer, foster up-sell opportunities and support renewals. You will be the primary point of contact for client questions, concerns, and escalated issues and act as the liaison between the customer’s internal staff and your internal business partners. Resolution of issues may require you to coordinate with other internal departments such as Customer Success, Accounting, Product or Engineering. Your ability to track, manage and resolve acute issues effectively and responsibly is key to your success. Specific customer deliverables may include, but are not limited to; renewals, enrollment, billing, and disbursement. Effectively partnering with Customer Success and other internal departments will ensure all Service Level Agreements are not only met but exceeded. You will develop, track and report key performance metrics to the client as well as internal teams. Your customer insights are expected to influence your development and implementation of processes and procedures designed to improve operational efficiency to further delight your customer.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND OPPORTUNITIES

  • Set the leadership tone for their team to provide excellent customer service to our clients, business partners, and members.
  • Understand the needs of our clients, business partners, and members, and act as an advocate for both Vimly and our customers.
  • Maintain knowledge of industry trends, stay up to date in the market space and take a consultative approach when advising clients.
  • Prepare and present reports and presentations to the Executive Team, Clients, and senior business partners.
  • Possess a basic understanding of financial statements and be able to speak to them to Trustee or Board members.
  • Provide leadership for client management and support tasks, including meeting logistics, meeting minutes, and associated tasks.
  • Support and communicate needs of client auditors, working with Accounting and Finance.
  • Participate in Vimly training to advance your career and pursue additional certifications as appropriate to continue career growth.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • BS in Business or equivalent

  • Employee Benefits Certifications – a plus
  • Familiar with Taft- Hartley, MERP, Union and VEBA – a plus
