Our COVID-19 Plan: Serving You Without Interruption

Vimly is committed and prepared to maintain our service delivery standards in the face of addressing the evolving risk posed by the global spread of COVID-19.

Health and safety—for our employees, their families, our clients and partners—is our foremost concern.

Despite these uncertain times, Vimly is also focused on supporting uninterrupted client service. We have established capacity and tools for our employees to work from home while continuing to remain HIPAA compliant, and we have put the following contingency plans in place for all key business processes including:

  • Service Center Fielding inbound calls to ensure business partners, producers, employer groups, and their members are supported
  • Eligibility Transmissions Sending and receiving of EDI data / 834 files to ensure eligibility is transferred timely to trading partners
  • Billing, Payments & Disbursements Invoicing (employer groups, COBRA members, and retirees, if applicable), collecting premium payments, and disbursing payments to partners/carriers/service providers to ensure member eligibility has no disruptions and all parties continue to receive their funds
  • Logistics Receiving, processing, distributing, and sending physical mail to ensure paper processes (i.e., inbound checks) are managed with care and processed in a timely fashion

During the COVID-19 outbreak, the SIMON platform is available 24/7 for your groups to expedite group benefit administration needs. Use of SIMON will eliminate disruption as it reduces dependency on on-premise processes, further ensuring our team can support you and our mutual customers uninterrupted through the COVID-19 outbreak.

Our Business Contingency plan is compliant with HITRUST and has been enacted across our organization. We do not expect a disruption in service to any of our customers, however, we expect volumes to potentially increase during this time as more members seek service and have eligibility or billing questions. We will proactively evolve our strategy as new information emerges from government agencies.

Vimly will continue navigating this challenging environment with a focus on the well- being of our workforce and business community. We are committed to helping you do the same. Please let us know how we can assist you.
