The Seattle-area company provides enrollment, eligibility, consolidated billing, back office solutions, and more cloud-based tools to various customers including health plans, carriers, and third-party administrators. The idea is to ease the delivery and management of employee benefits.
Vimly is led by CEO Shannon Jurdana, a healthtech veteran who co-founded the company in 1993. She acquired full ownership of Vimly in 2012.
The fresh cash is part of a Series A-1 round and comes from various individual angels, family trusts, and others. Vimly employs 152 people and expects to reach 160 employees by the end of this year. Total funding to date is $12.7 million.
