Vimly supports the local community in a student hackathon

Our Chief Technology Officer, Katie Trout, was a guest speaker at a local computer science hackathon, joining fellow tech leaders from Amazon and Philips Healthcare in supporting upcoming tech talent.

Reflecting on this event, Katie stated:

“It made my day and left me truly inspired to spend a Saturday morning teaming up with my trusted Architect, Scott Wilson, and a group of engaged hackathoners building projects that positively impact society. We had a great discussion on technologies. The main message was that it is more than technology that brings success - it is first about the people; software development is a team sport - you pair great people with technology, and you win for your customers.”
